Farm Medix brings structured diagnostics and decision insights into the farm support ecosystem, enabling veterinarians and other professionals to work from shared, high-quality data around the farmer’s objectives.

Achieve better mastitis outcomes, together
Farm Medix’s focus is to support dairy farmers and their veterinarians. We provide lab-grade microbiology, fast on-farm diagnostics, and a workflow that makes it easier for vets to deliver targeted, evidence-based mastitis management.

Our goal is to reduce mastitis pressure, focusing on mastitis prevention and, through accurate pathogen identification, the effective management of the pathogens identified.

We welcome veterinarians as core partners: recommending tests, helping with sampling, developing treatment protocols, reviewing corrective actions and co-developing mastitis management plans, including Staph. aureus control plans.
Our philosophy - collaboration
1. Actionable diagnostics
We deliver diagnostics, data and practical recommendations that your clinic can use to improve outcomes for your clients.
2. Integrated care support
We work with you as part of the farm’s care team — sharing data, reports and follow-up actions so veterinarians remain central to management planning.
3. Veterinary clinical authority
We respect clinical prerogative. We do not prescribe regulated medicines or override vet clinical decision-making for their clients.

Farm Medix arranges Snapshot, Herdscreen, or supplies the FCDC test kit.

Results are returned to you as the vet and the farmer. You lead clinical decisions.

Clinic-run testing
Clinics purchase FCDC testing kits to perform mastitis testing for clients. We provide training, and the lab reviews/validates results as required 7 days a week.

Shared Herdscreen campaigns
Snapshot indicates contagious driver.

You recommend Herdscreen

The clinic can assist with sampling and with writing the Staph. aureus management plan.

Farm Medix undertakes testing, produces the herd report and a cow-by-cow action plan for you and the farmer to review and implement.
